135 bpm metronome concentration challenge for drumming practice. Can you play drum rudiments locked to the click while a backing track of music comes in and out to distract you? it's a tough one for the brain - good luck!. Synth bagpipes with snare only. I made this for the backing track, at very low volume, for a video sound track. It's good enough for something like that. I don't know anything about pipes so don't freak out if play them. It's g at 100bpm in 6/8.

The backing track runs through each of twelve tonal centers, starting with d lydian and moving down a fifth every two measures (counterclockwise through the cycle of fifths), ending with a lydian. * the audio consists of a single pass through the 12 tonalities, but the files are optimized for looping and should transition smoothly from end to beginning, given the appropriate looping software or hardware. * i enjoyed making this track and found it useful for practicing various ideas, such as running scales in different positions, directions, and intervallic combinations, superimposing triad and tetrad shapes, voicings, inversions, and lines. And just jamming out and improvising freeform.

Here's another loop created with my experimental one string dulcimer using an old casstte player head as a pickup. This one's a long ambient loop that can be used as a backing track or chopped up. The sound was created using numerous vst effects in reaper. If you download this and use it in a track please send me a link to the track. It's always great to hear what other people create too :0).

Recorded a short drum and bass loops at 100-bpm using ableton live 9. 4 notes per bar played on bass in this order: g1 e1 g1 e1. This recording is designed for a mid-range frequency instrument, like a guitar, over the loop. Mid range frequencies are reduced to allow space for a guitar, vocals, etc. Additional notes:-15. 9 lufs integrated-1. 1 db true peak max.
